At its Spring Summer 2019 show, Japanese fashion brand Sacai showed off two Nike unisex sneakers, each with two tongues, two laces and two Swoosh logos. One is a mashup of the Waffle Daybreak and the LDV, while the other combines the Dunk High with the Blazer. Worn under blanket wraps and technical outerwear were two silhouettes that Footwear News denoted the “Waffle Daybreak with the LDV” and “Blazer with the Dunk.” Chitose also noted that, “Sacai has always been about hybridization,” and that showed in the new models with double tongues, laces and Swoosh branding.
