For the collection, Nike has partnered with young, Latin American street artists whose groundbreaking work honors their heritage. This release was designed by young street artist, Saner. His Air Force 1 design takes inspiration from pre-Hispanic cultures, who believed the jaguar was a mystic with the power of survival in both life and death. In these cultures, the jaguar invites us to destroy our masks and egos and be reborn into courage. Jaguar inspired detailing can be seen throughout the Air Force 1’s upper, coupled with Saner’s personal touch on the heel.
