Jordan Brand is adding Nike’s Zoom Air cushioning to their classic model, the Air Jordan 1. Simply put, the Air Jordan 1 is the sneaker that started it all. Michael Jordan’s first signature model was released in 1985, and is the Air Jordan model that sports a Nike Swoosh. Highlighted with 3M reflective detailing across the entire upper, the tongue replaces “Nike Air” for “Zoom Air”. The same treatment is given to the insoles while on the lateral side it has a “Zoom” label. Other details includes the traditional Wings branding by the ankle, a string of numbers and letters by the heel while Black covers the midsole while a translucent outsole completes the look.
